 Harlan Vande Kieft has been involved in horses all his life. He has shown in everything from 4H shows to the Quarter Horse Congress and the AQHA World shows. He has a strong background in pleasure horses and team roping. He currently trains All-Around horses including Western Pleasure, English, Horsemanshp, Showmanship, and trail. He shows at most AQHA shows in the area, futurities, Corporate Challenge, Reicherts Celebration, Congress, and the World. Harlan was born in Northwest Iowa and was raised with 2 brothers and 2 sisters, all of whom were also very active in showing horses. He now resides at his training facility outside of Rushmore, MN, which is located in Southwestern Minnesota. He and Connie together have 3 children. Jenny is 20 and is currently attending college to pursue a degree in Animal Science. Brad is 15 and loves to play hockey and show horses. Matt is 14 and enjoys the horses, music and computers. He believes a key to training is to continue to learn and always strive to be better , create better horses, and to try to maximize a horses potential!
